Restoring the relationship between people and planet.

About Me

Rooted in an ecosystem approach to restoring our planet, Andrea shifts power to the frontline changemakers unlocking an equitable and resilient future. Andrea has worked relentlessly to tackle unequal access to resources as a funder, program manager, and storyteller in the realms of climate resilience, workforce development, and environmental justice.

With a background in environmental resilience and political ecology, Andrea has close to a decade of experience strategizing for impact within philanthropy, grassroots nonprofits, and corporate social responsibility. Beginning her foray onto the foundation scene along the San Diego/Tijuana border, Andrea honed her storytelling chops while amplifying Latin America-based grantee efforts in conservation, human rights, and community development. Stepping into grantmaking roles in Washington D.C., Andrea anchored into a trust-based approach to invest in and connect community-led NGOs from Indonesia to Houston as head of a combined $6M climate resilience portfolio.

In collaboration with C-suite executives at a Fortune 200 Tech Company, she spearheaded an investment strategy that unlocked $3M in capital and capacity for founders diversifying the STEM workforce through culturally responsive career pathways.

Each of these professional lives has allowed extensive insight into the processes and priorities of the funder ecosystem. Leveraging this knowledge as a nonprofit consultant, Andrea currently works with clients to cultivate strategic partnerships, hone unique program narratives, and ultimately scale their impact with values-aligned philanthropic and corporate partners.
